Mass Intentions
It is a longstanding tradition in the Church that a Priest may be requested to offer a Mass for a specific intention. You may request that Masses be offered by the monk-priests of St. Bernard for your intentions.
Stipends
You are invited to make a free will offering, called a stipend, to apply the Mass to a specific intention. Your offerings for Holy Masses are used to support the monks of Saint Bernard Abbey.

Suggested stipends/ offerings:
-
Individual Mass:
$10.00 (minimum), $15.00, $25.00 -
Novena of Masses (9 consecutive Masses):
$90 (minimum)

FAQs
-
How much does a Mass cost?
The stipend in no way corresponds with the value of a Mass, which is of infinite value. Mass does not cost anything. Rather, the asker gives a free-will offering to support the work of the priest celebrating the Mass.
-
Can you offer Mass on a specific date for my intention?
You are welcome to request a specific date and we will try to accommodate your request, but it is almost impossible for us to guarantee that a Mass will be offered on a specific date.
-
How do I request a Mass to be said?
Please send a letter indicating:
+ Your name
+ The Intention of the Mass (including, if applicable, the name of any person(s) for whom the intention is associated and whether the person is living or dead.)
+ The Stipend for the Mass (see above recommended offering).
Cash or check made out to "St. Bernard Abbey". USD only.
If you are unable to make a donation at this time, you may still submit a request.
